With ever increasing cost of fuel and operational overheads, it is imperative to have a managerial control on the Fleet. In Fleet Management system gives the reports and tools for Management to optimally deploy the Fleet, promptly respond to custem request, ensure minimal delays, and even lower downtimes.
Convenient and aesthetically pleasing dashboards are tailored and created to meet stakeholder’s requirements. Reports that are daily, weekly, monthly or as per the period required are available at the click of an icon or as graphs and trend statistics of revenue, vehicle wise, group wise, fleet wise, department wise and so on.
Reports and trends of driver wise transgressions, penalties and suspensions, required to monitor the behavior and performance of drivers. It is a useful tool used to ensure optimum customer satisfaction in the long run.
Alerts are sent to the driver for over speeding. The system logs these details and uses the information for penalties. Other Alerts on tampering of the in-vehicle-device, seat sensors, etc., also ensure that the violations are monitored, recorded and finally, reduced.
With the monitoring of over speeding, harsh acceleration and harsh braking, and subsequent penalties levied on the driver, these incidents tend to fall drastically over a period of time. On one hand this reduces the accident rate, and on the other hand, it also helps in reducing the wear and tear on the vehicle suspension, brake and other systems, resulting in a lower cost of maintenance.
The ECU information thought the CAN bus is used to predict failures of the system or subsystems. Maintenance and Support Center are alerted to advise the vehicle owner regarding the maintenance required to be done. The downtime of vehicles and costs of maintenance can be reduced significantly with this. (Note: This is an additional/optional feature that need to be customized depending on the vehicle, model, etc.)
Alerts through SMS and emails are available to be sent to the vehicle owner to remind him as where the next maintenance is due on the vehicle.
